KSU Law Revision Faces Faculty Backlash and Reform
The last regular Student Council meeting exposed faculty disapproval of a constitutional amendment passed in the elections. A 175 vote by faculty is required for final approval. A council committee will seek additional support and report next week. New leaders include President Harry Moldo van and Secretary Avis Pinney with Sitler leading two new resolutions creating governing bodies and a constitutional amendment committee.

Ohio Tests to Screen 600 Portage Trumbull Students
About 600 high school students from Portage and Trumbull counties will take college scholarship tests Saturday at the university. The event includes a welcome by President George A. Bowman and testing in 21 classrooms with 25 faculty members assisting. Over 4,000 Ohio students are involved overall with results due by Saturday noon.

Pork Barrel eliminations attract twenty campus groups
Twenty campus organizations compete in tonight’s eliminations for Pork Barrel starting at 6 10 in the auditorium. Twelve groups advance to tomorrow night’s Pork Barrel show with roughest contention in the fraternity division. Judges from Akron University and Kent Courier-Tribune rate by theme presentation and total effect. Doors open 6 30 with MCs Gene Mekler and Don Watt guiding a 7 p m show and a penny donation to the Stater Penny fund.

Sharks Club To Present Holi Day For Mermaids Show
The Sharks club presents its third annual water show titled Holi day For Mermaids on May 10 and 11 in the men’s HPE pool. A 32 member women’s synchronized swimming cast, directed by Miss Beverly Seidel with student directors Pat Maglione and Lorie Postlethwaite, showcases holidays and joyous occasions. Part of the Second Annual Arts festival, tickets are 50 cents and available from Mrs. Marie Apple in the HPE department or at the door.

Chestnut Burr Voucher Distribution Schedule
Vouchers for this year’s Chestnut Burr will be handed out next week in the hall between Merrill hall and the Atrium from 9 to 11 in the morning and 1 to 3 in the afternoon. Sol P Baltimore Burr editor notes the same distribution basis as last year. Students with three quarters receive a voucher free, those with two quarters pay $3.50, and students with one quarter pay $1.50. activity cards must be shown to receive a voucher.
