Men's Union Plans May 1 Fund Drive for Campus Chimes
The Men's Union launches a May 1 drive to fund 32 chimes 18 American 14 foreign made with amplifier and player to adorn the administration building. About 18000 is needed and students alumni and townspeople will be contacted. Committee members Bill Riley Harry Muldowan and Jerry McFadden plan a university dance and other events to generate support. Chimes will resonate across campus and Kent with bells rung for daily and special occasions.

Seniors Plan Class Dance For June Ninth In Union Hall
Final plans for the senior class dance are tentatively set for the evening of June 9 in the Union ballroom. The senior class meeting at 4 p.m. in 2040 will discuss the dance plus a memorial gift, graduation announcements, a class luncheon, a picnic, and the dues drive. Official withdrawal required for dropped courses
Registrar Dr. Charles E. Atkinson announced that students who registered for courses dropped from the curriculum this quarter must officially withdraw in the registrar's office. Any student who changes a schedule or drops a course without an official change of program will automatically receive an F in that course.

Dates April 29 and May 6 set for comprehensive examinations required for all graduate students who completed course work. Four hour tests resume for graduates in June and September.
