School for Husbands to Open at University Auditorium
A three day run of School for Husbands begins Thursday at 8 15 p m in the university auditorium. Ernie Mauer stars as Sganarella with Norma Remmy as Isabelle and Bob Wallace as the romantic lead. Original student works will be performed tonight at 8:15 p.m. in the Union auditorium as part of the Arts Festival. Pieces include Allegro for Piano and Trio for Woodwinds by Donald Erb and Prelude and Toccata by William Evans. Indian UN Delegate Chavre to Speak on World Peace
Dr Milkanth Chavre Indian delegate to the United Nations will address the assembly in the auditorium today at 1 pm on Future of World Peace and Social Forces at Work. He educated Bombay and Michigan and sponsors scholarships for Indian women at Michigan. He heads 1800 Indian students in the US and is a longtime Gandhi associate. The talk is sponsored by the American Commons club under the Assembly committee and open to the public.

Students to Register Today for General Election Voting
All students must register today or tomorrow at the Elections committee table near Merrill hall to vote Thursday in the general elections. Each voter needs both a student activity card and a census card, with census cards available at the table. Polls open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and voting is by college with separate entrances for each area.

Veterans urged to file to cancel 15 day leave
Veterans who want to forgo the 15 day leave at quarter end to gain more eligibility time should visit the co ordinator of veterans affairs. Proper forms must be filed by May 1 to cancel the leave, said Benjamin Mc Ginnis. Veterans receive subsistence for nine months while in school for eight and a half months.

Construction on the first section of Memorial stadium begins with a $101,452 package covering steel seating, footing, floors, partitions and masonry plus electrical and plumbing work. A letter from President George A Bowman thanks contributors who raised about $60,000, including $25,000 from faculty and alumni and $35,000 from townspeople. About $40,000 in public funds will be used for enclosing the stands.
