Wright To Discuss Floating Theater History
G Harry Wright, professor of speech, will present a talk titled Troopers of the Rivers at a Tuesday morning assembly. He recounts two years of research into river showboat entertainment, drawing on logbooks newspapers and mementoes from journeys totaling 12 000 miles on the Mississippi Ohio and other rivers. His findings will be used as a doctoral dissertation at the University of Wisconsin. Dr Charles Sumner will introduce him. The assembly is set for 11 a.m.

Job prospects for June graduates praised by Kent State official
Dr Lester Munzenmayer, director of the bureau of appointments, said June graduate placements look promising. He noted high placement success for December and March graduates and that about 90 percent of seniors apply for positions. A 1940 graduate reported Cleveland sales firm preference for Kent State University graduates.
