Reynolds To Play For Pop Ball At University
Reynolds and his 11 piece orchestra will perform at the annual Popularity Ball on Saturday night announced by Bob Casey president of the junior class. The group recently moved from the south playing in Alabama Virginia South Carolina Tennessee and North Carolina. Reynolds plays saxophone clarinet and sings and his music is described as sweet. The Pop Ball honors the university s most popular man and woman with free admission for seniors and juniors due to a treasury surplus. Freshman and sophomore dues began yesterday near Wills gym with juniors and seniors admitted on last quarter lists or dues receipts.

Traffic Court Levies $30 In Student Fines
The newly formed student traffic court has levied thirty dollars in fines for traffic violations. Funds go to student allocations. All Kent city limit student drivers must register vehicles with the traffic department or face a $1 late fee. Yellow student permits are no longer required on student driven vehicles.

K Vets Announce On Campus Policy Change
The K Vets will start a new policy of meeting procedures and will meet off campus for the first time at the local American Legion hall. The Wednesday session begins at 8 p.m. Members pay 25 cents to enter as guests, who may attend with a membership card and may enjoy free beer after the meeting.

Boosters Plan Dance to Honor Wrestlers at University

Canton First KSU Classes Began Before Kent Campus
Kent State offered extension courses in 25 northeastern Ohio cities including Canton. The Canton class started with 110 students in history of education. Prize Paintings From 1946 CMA Exhibit At KSU Gallery
Prize winning paintings from the Cleveland Museum of Art show travel to Kent State University gallery on the second floor between Kent and Merrill halls. The exhibit titled 18th Traveling Exhibit by Cleveland Artists features landscapes surrealism and composition works.
