Hiram A Cappella Choir Set For Assembly Tomorrow
The Hiram college a cappella choir, 42 students strong, performs in a 2 pm all university assembly in the auditorium. Leader Prof. Francis W. Proctor plans a program of religious, secular, and folk pieces from the 16th century to the modern era. An informal tea for the choir follows at Engleman hall from 3 to 5 pm hosted by the lower house council.

Navy Ends V-7 and V-5 Enlistment for University Men
University leaders announced a new Navy procurement plan limiting annual enlistments to 80,000 youths aged 17 to 19 as apprentice seamen V-1.
