Shoemaker's Holiday on Campus Preview at UT
UT presents Shoemaker's Holiday April 15 16 17 in the auditorium. Cast members wear period costumes around campus to acquaint the public with outfits featuring long skirts steel helmets swords and curly toe shoes. The play follows a shoemaker rising to Lord Mayor of London inspired by fifteenth century crafts and features original music by Mike Lenenski performed by a three piece ensemble under Sam Dilmore. Tickets available at a sales table between Kent and Merrill halls.

SC Reinstates Petitions Of Five For Council Posts
The Student Council reversed an elections committee ruling that voided petitions for five sophomores Carol Keidel Lester Gamble Leonard Dockus Bill Barry and Jo Haggerty. The council decided that signing one sheet qualified the whole petition and admitted the candidates to balloting. Raymond Moran of athletics protested the cut to the varsity budget, keeping the $900 reduction unresolved due to missing minutes from allocations.
