First contributors to the Stater Books for Vets drive were Oscar Ritchie Barbara Henry Bill Sullivan and Janet Mor row. Books turned in for vets to borrow free of charge included The Sardenogy of Abnormal People History of Europe Introductory Sociology and Liberty Democracy and Property. Several shipments cut the list of needed books in half and more titles remain in demand such as Plane and Spherical Trigonometry Introduction to Philosophy Psychology of the Audience Psychology Adolescence Engineering Drawing Sheets The Complete Reporter Interpretive Reporting Psychology of Abnormal People Money and Banking Today Teacher and Educational Administration.

Women students enter the university flight program alongside men, forming a new coeducational phase. Kent State A Cappella Choir To Sing At Hiram College
Kent State's 65 voice a cappella choir will appear on another campus Thursday in Hiram. Assistant professor Caro M Carapetyan will lead religious numbers at an 11 a m recital in Hiram auditorium. A choral program will be part of Easter assembly at the university on Thursday Apr 18.
