Churches Unite For Lenten Services In Kent
Kent area churches join in a series of United Lenten services at 12:15 to 12:45 daily in First Christian church with speakers named for each day. Good Friday services include a Christ Episcopal church service from 12:15 to 1:45 and a sermon on the Passion by Father Mulroy at St Patrick's Catholic church.

Penny Carnival Entry Sheets Open In Dean Of Women Office
Entry sheets for the annual Penny Carnival sponsored by Cardinal Key and Blue Key are available today in the Dean of Women's office. Submissions are due by April 21. The carnival will be held May 3 in Wills Gym from 7 to 11 p.m. The gym opens at 8 a.m. for setup. A five dollar forfeit applies for missing materials on May 3. Trophies awarded to the fraternity sorority and independent group raising the most money with an extra trophy if enough coed independents enter. Admission is ten cents and proceeds go to cancer fund WSSF scholarship fund and the state fund. Cochairs are Vern Roberts and Mary C Newberry.

Reading Clinic Registration Open at University
Registration for aid and training in reading is open to all students through the University Reading clinic. Those wishing to register may come on weekdays from 11 to noon and from 1 to 3 p.m. The clinic is in the west basement of Rockwell Library and services are free.

Schedule Masters Exam at Kent State for April 12
Dean Raymond M. Clark of the KSU Graduate School announced qualifying examinations will be held Saturday April 12 from 9 to 12. Each master's degree student must take the exam after completing the first quarter of graduate work or six hours in their major for part timers.
