Tonight's benefit carnival in Wills gymnasium showcases films, games of skill, and novelty acts from six fraternities and ten clubs. Blue Key and Cardinal Key co sponsor with co chairs John Thomas and Jeanne Cook. goal is a $1000 donation to Stadium Drive. Doors open 7:30 p.m.. finals at 11 p.m. with winners announced.

Drivers Must Record Plates at University Traffic Office
The traffic department at the east entrance to Wills gym now requires all university drivers to register 1948 Ohio or out-of-state license plates. Dick Heller, traffic director, announced the rule applies to all university connected drivers even if they do not drive on campus. A $1 late fee may apply to student drivers identified on departmental plate lists.

Bullock Wins First Spot in Ohio Conference Readings
Forensic student Jim Bullock earned first place in the Individual Event Competition for Men of the Ohio Conference. He received a $25 cash award for his interpretive Bible reading. The event drew 12 colleges and was held at Wooster. Kent was represented by Warren Lashley and Wilbur Proctor.

Political Science students will study Communism in Action the new booklet by the Legislative Reference Service Library of Congress. KSU Receives Memorial Gift From Parents of WWII Student
Mr and Mrs Michael Tataru of Bedford donate a seven volume set Encyclopedia des sciences mathematiques pures et appliquees to Rockwell Library in memory of their son Lt Viovel Theodore Tataru who left KSU in February 1943 to serve. The collection honors his interest in mathematics and honors his memory with a mathematics encyclopedia set.
