A man returns home and finds the old world smaller yet richer with memory. He recalls climbing the Chinaberry tree, trapping an owl, watching orioles in the mesquite, wax goo from the trunk, and childhood games near the rock fence while animals and plants persist around the farm.
Garnishment action filed by Mrs. Sarah Carr against C A Buck Jones, due in Justice of the Peace court by April 29, 1939. Jal ordinances appointing a police judge and setting a trash burning fine take effect, with town officials noted. Local notices also summarize town life and recollections of rural youth.
Rev. C. Y. Butler led the I scouts on a hike and the group picked Humphries pasture as the arbor site. They will start builds Saturday to provide shade and a dining area and a place for outdoor cooking.
