McAllister Brother Killed in Illinois Crash
Carl McAllister of Hobbs died at 39 in Illinois after a car and truck collision near Sandoval. He was driving with his police dog Buffy when flames engulfed the car. Funeral services were held in Mangum Oklahoma for the brother of Mayor H. H. McAllister. his widow and two daughters remained with relatives.
