Gas from Jal El Paso Co. Plant Shows World’s Largest Camp
El Paso Natural Gas Company operates a vast Jal facility two miles from town with a multi‑unit plant, 27 town gas supplies, and 138 million cubic feet daily capacity. The sweet gas system excludes hydrogen sulfide while sour gas undergoes purification to remove sulfur. plant staff includes J. W. Cowan and others. Jal camp features a club, tennis court, strong basketball team, and safety contests.
