Baptist W M S Holds Prayer Meeting At Church
Ladies of the Baptist Church held a Monday prayer meeting with Rev. W H Norris, praising an inspiring service. Nine ladies attended as plans for several weeks of prayer meetings continue while the W M S reorganizes. Rev C Y Butler and the Cub Scouts plan a hike Friday. Mrs M G McConal returned home after an operation and is improving rapidly.

The Jal School system earned full four year high school accreditation in a state report listing over 80 schools. It appeared on the good shape list alongside Albuquerque Roswell Hobbs Carlsbad and other first class institutions, with 15 schools marked as having deficiencies. Superintendent J. L.
