Memorial Day Planned in Jackson with Parade and Sham Battle
Plans for Memorial Day observance in Jackson are complete under the Larkin D. Watson Chapter UDC. A parade featuring old veterans Boy Scouts teachers and the public will march from the Confederate monument to the city square with the sham battle by the Jackson Rifles and a memorial oration by Col. W. E. Watkins.
