Pennypacker Campaign Draws Farmers to Center Hall Meeting

Judge Pennypacker and Sen. Penrose led a packed Center Hall rally as part of a weeklong campaign tour. Ex-Gov Hastings presided. We Should Stand Firm Pennsylvania Duty Today

Hon. Charles Emory Smith urges Pennsylvanias steadfast support for the national administration in Centre Hall. He cites 1892 prosperity followed by Democratic gains causing uncertainty, halted enterprise, impaired credit, and widespread distrust, warning against a return to hard times. He frames the 1893-97 downturn as a cautionary example and emphasizes duty to uphold current policies.
