Indiana County Agricultural Society Plans Six Per Cent Dividend
At a Saturday meeting of the Indiana County Agricultural Society managers a six percent dividend for stockholders was approved. Fair receipts exceeded expectations and after premiums expenses and stockholders interest a treasury surplus remains for improvements. Grounds fence will be rebuilt and several buildings repainted. Stockholders receive dividend on or after Tuesday October 7. The premium list will appear in next week's Progress. Also noted was the Blaireville Baptist church dedication with Rev. Wm Coulston Greensburg delivering the sermon and Rev. D W Swigart Dunbar officiating. The church reported full debt paid and a $20 balance in the treasury.

R Porter Warden of Marchand was found dead under an apple tree after picking fruit with a ladder.
