Court Holds Bonus Board Is Wrong
Salem May 18 The circuit court justices Bingham and Kelley upheld a writ of mandamus in Capital Post No 9 of the American Legion suit. They ruled the Veterans' State Aid commission cannot consider moral risks to lower loan percentages and must loan 75 percent of appraised property value to ex service men. The decision voids commission rules on loan administration.
