Hubbard Bloodmobile Visit Set For June 9
Hubbard Community Blood Bank Committee plans the forthcoming blood drawing on Tuesday June 9. The six long-serving members since 1975 include Robert Kelley as chairman and Patricia Kennedy Bev Creed Stan Lipka Rosemary Mitchell Marion Mader. Additional members listed include Marcella Bobby Harry McFall Aggie Caven Mary McConnell Carolyn Lewis and Mary Jean Hunt. Lou Raymond regional director of recruitment praises the committee for handling from recruitment to volunteers bookkeeping and day-of operations.

Local grants from Operation Rice Bowl funds are available to groups that distribute food to the needy. Apply by June 30 through a church or established institution. Last year 39 local programs funded. 25 percent locally retained. $54,280.58 in diocese contributed.

Hubbard bride elect honored at Bowling Green shower
Diane Ruth Kaden, bride-elect of Thomas Van Soyec of Toledo, was guest of honor at a Bowling Green bridal shower. Hostesses were Vicki Bashore and Shannon Stiebler, college roommates. Kaden plans to marry June 27 at Central Christian Church Hubbard after graduating June 13 from BGS.
