Hubbard City Council Approves Fire Station Addition
Hubbard City Council approved a 26000 addition to the fire department with Villano Construction. The project, shared with the township, will place an extension between the fire and police facilities and include a shower room and an office for the computer. The meeting also authorized bids for a sidewalk program funded by a Community Development Block Grant and renewed notes for the wastewater plant.

Mud Creek flood issues raised at Hubbard town meeting

Bandstand arson attempt causes minimal damage
Hubbard Township authorities report an attempt to set fire to the Harding Park bandstand last week charred one corner but caused no other damage. Frank Marshall, Harding Park board member, said the incident occurred between 9 p.m. Sunday Aug 12 and 7 30 a.m. Monday. He noted the fire did not catch and the summer concert series will continue as planned.
