Trustees seek to recover funds with attorney Daniluk
Hubbard Township trustees agreed April 13 to hire Atty Daniel Daniluk to pursue additional real estate tax apportionment after a 10 mill redistribution hurt revenue. If successful he would receive 50 percent. if not, no pay. Hanley said the plan could recoup a sizeable portion of the 36 000 lost funds.

Hubbard residents learn from Arms Museum staff that the Hollands family entombed in Maple Grove Cemetery since 1874 left handwritten wills detailing a prosperous coal wealth. William Holland's 1863 will leaves estate to Mariah, who bequeaths sums to sisters and a brother-in-law. The couple had no children.
