Community Good Friday Service at St Patrick's Church

Hubbard residents are invited to a 7 30 p m Good Friday Tenebrae service at St Patrick's Church on April 13. The Hubbard Ministerial Association sponsors the event with special music by multiple church choirs and soloists. Ministers from seven churches deliver meditational seven words from the Cross as candles are extinguished. Community members may participate in the solemn service.

FOP Dance Promises Support for Hubbard Police Work

Hubbard Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 132 sponsors its annual dance on Saturday April 21 at St Patrick’s church hall from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Advance tickets cost 2 and 2.50 at the door. Proceeds fund a college scholarship for a Hubbard High School senior aiming for law enforcement and the annual Christmas party for area needy children. Music by Angelo LaCivita Orchestra. BYOB.

Hubbard Boys to Attend Buckeye Boys State in 1979

Three Hubbard High School juniors Steve Albani Tim Ball and Fred Chordas will attend Buckeye Boys State at Bowling Green State University June 16 to 24 1979.
