Sweet Tooth brings dark fantasy to Netflix’s postapocalyptic world
Netflix’s Sweet Tooth blends a high concept family fantasy with brutal peril in a post virus world. Based on DC Comics, the eight episode season follows Gus a half boy half deer and allies like Jepperd Bear and Adi Singh as they search for Gus’s mother amid violent Last Men and societal collapse. The show mixes hopeful fantasy with mature themes and violence, appealing to older kids and families while resisting pat episodes.
