Michigan senators push CPL licensing-free concealed carry plan
Senators Roger Victory and Aric Nesbitt introduced a four-bill package to remove the license requirement for concealed pistols if the holder passes a background check. The bills, filed May 27, cite constitutional rights and cite Texas as inspiration. Gov. Whitmer is unlikely to sign if advanced.

A new clothing store on 55 E Eighth St Holland offers customized prints along with mugs tie dye shirts hoodies hats and bags. The Big Fish Outlet operates in West Michigan with locations in Grand Haven Manistee and Ludington. Owner Shay Albaz of Ludington notes the storefront formerly housed Ferris Coffee art and seating. The Grand Rapids location closed earlier this year and the Grand Valley State University café brewed its last coffee in May.
