Drownings Rise Across Great Lakes in 2021
The Associated Press reports a higher 2021 drownings tally across the Great Lakes through July 4, with 34 deaths, including 16 in Lake Michigan, 6 in Lake Huron, 6 in Lake Erie, and 6 in Lake Ontario. The GLSRP notes boating and pier incidents as causes, with several youths among the victims.
