Indiana pastor loses job after appearing on drag show
The Rev. Craig Duke, a longtime Methodist minister in Indiana, is relieved of his pastoral duties at Newburgh United Methodist Church after appearing in drag on HBO's We're Here. Critics cited betrayal and harmed trust as Duke accepted a 40 percent pay cut and will relocate by February 28. The decision stems from a deep church rift amid LGBTQ inclusion debates, with Duke defending his actions as sharing God's love on a national platform.
