Navajo County Board of Supervisors June 4 1917 Proceedings
The Navajo County Board of Supervisors met at 10 00 A M with Chairman Creswell and members Freeman Owens. They approved minutes, adopted a bonded school tax resolution and directed tax levies for 1917 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33. They recessed to June 6 and addressed Mesmer Rice demands delaying payments and urging bridge completion by July 15 1917. Bridges by Omaha Structural Steel Works were accepted with payment of the remaining contract sums and extras per engineer’s report.
