Navy Recruits Leave Holbrook for El Paso Training
W A Sickman U S Navy recruiting officer examined Holbrook youths who had signed up to enlist. Three candidates Wm A Lee Jr Harland H Johnson and Alvin M Fish were accepted and sent to El Paso for further testing. They will proceed to San Francisco for boot camp and may head to San Diego later where Holbrook recruits are training. A party at the Cross home honored the men Wednesday evening with relatives and friends invited.
