Why Energy Bills Rise Says PSE&G Plan

PSE&G explains rising electric and gas bills due to higher fuel costs and operational expenses. Coal and oil costs have surged about 3.2 times in three years, natural gas prices hit double since 1971, and about forty cents of every electricity dollar goes to fuel. The utility promotes synthetic gas, Gulf coast gas exploration, LNG imports, and expanding nuclear energy as cheaper, with fusion or solar as future options.
