The noon Dow Jones average of 30 Industrial stocks was off .66 at 990 53 after a net decline of 21.94 Points in the two previous trading Days. Losers held a 7-6 Lead Over gainers in the Over All count of new York Stock Exchange listed issues the fed s statistical report was due to be issued at the nose close today. Traders have watched the fed figures especially closely in the past couple of weeks looking for possible clues to the future direction of the Central Bank a credit policy and interest rates. Last week Hopes for an easing of fed policy suffered a setback when the data showed a record jump in the Basic measure of the Money Supply.
