Parents learn to help handicapped children at UNC program
In Chapel Hill the Infant Treatment Group at UNC's Division for Disorders of Development and Learning trains parents to carry out home remedial programs while children receive therapy. Parents join twice weekly sessions with DDDL staff and trainees, with group meetings to share resources and advocate for services.
