Lineup 'Was Rigged' Blocking Bass Identification

Delaware student Joe Proceno testified that a Harnett County lineup was rigged to keep him from identifying gas station operator Robert L Bass as the man who shot and killed Hugh C Sanders near Dunn. Prosecutors say Sanders and Proceno left the station after unpaid gas, with Proceno later admitting the lineup error and noting Bass wore glasses and a uniform different from the suspect.
