Debra Ann Moore and Richard Barnes Oliver were married at Our Lady of Grace Church in Greensboro on a Saturday afternoon. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Moore, wore an organza gown with lace yoke and chapel train. the groom, son of Arch J. Oliver Jr., is a Appalachian State alumnus teaching in High Point. The reception followed at the Embassy Club in Sedgefield with family and friends attending.

Judy Lynn Horner wed Ronald Clay Welborn in a 3 PM ceremony at English Road Baptist Church. Officiated by Rev. Lester Ferguson, with Ruth Anne Sears and Kay Smith providing music. The bride wore satin and chantilly lace with a chapel veil, carrying a white Bible with a yellow orchid. Attendants wore blue and yellow prints, and the couple will reside on Carr Street after a reception hosted by the bride’s parents. The bridegroom, a Southeast Guilford High School graduate, works as a mechanic for Lyles Chevrolet.
