Publix project eyed to curb Hendersonville flood risk
Hendersonville council hears plan to use 12 acre city land behind a Publix to build a retention pond and stormwater improvements. Developer would elevate site five feet in Mud Creek floodplain to reduce flooding and improve water quality with two on site best management practices.
