Village Café & Pub in Flat Rock closes after 40 years
Flat Rock readers note the Village Café and Pub at 2770 Greenville Highway closed on Saturday after four decades serving as Dean's Deli and later a beer and wine bar. Owners Shannon and Dustin Zlacki express gratitude to regulars and friends as the site transitions. The property, built in 1971 and valued at $156,000, is owned by the McKibbin family partnership and leased to Hubba Hubba Smokehouse owner Starr Teal, who may convert it to an event space.
