Saluda homeowners oppose sheriff shooting range proposal
Nearly 250 Saluda residents attended a Monday night meeting over Henderson County Sheriff Charlie McDonald’s plan to build a 99 acre shooting range on Macedonia Road. County officials previously held a Saturday information session with landowners but barred public access. Local landowners including Susan and Tom McHugh voiced anger at not being consulted.
