Sympathy extended in Calgary grandson's death
Sympathy is extended to Mrs. Millie Young and relatives in the loss of her grandson Shawn McCormick of Calgary who died August 31. Funeral services were held at Newdale United Church on September 5 with interment in Newdale Cemetery. Various visitors and relatives traveled from Winnipeg, Rivers, Regina, Virden, and Brandon to attend or visit. A local seniors trip to Kenora and Lake of the Woods included social events and a boat cruise with meals. The piece ends with a reflection on the year's passing and winter's approach.
