Tigers Take Over First In Coon Valley League

Tigers climb to first in the Coon Valley Conference by crushing Manning 11 to 1 in five innings at Jar man field. Fireballer Dave Lane tossed a one hitter for his fourth win of the season as the Tigers batted strongly with hits from Hall Courtney Hunerdosse and Lane. Manning scored in the second to avoid a shutout but Lane walked few and the defense limited further Bulldogs scoring before Guthrie's team finished with seven runs in the fourth. The Tigers’ bats stayed hot with multiple players posting three-hit games as Lane and Hunerdosse both went 2 for 2 and Hall added two more safeties. Next, Guthrie hosts Extra before a rematch with Manning.
