The September 7 1976 Greene city council meeting approved water and sewer analyses and a transfer of funds, accepted the municipal streets and parking report, approved a building permit for 507 North 1st Street, and endorsed volunteer ambulance efforts. Bills across General Road Use Tax Water Sewer and Cemetery funds were approved for payment and adjournment followed with the clerk attesting.

Greene city council holds special meeting on water sewer plans
The September 9 1976 Greene city council special session reviewed progress on water and sewer projects with Mayor Weiss and six council members. Engineers Hanson and Associates outlined new weir houses meeting DEQ specs and financing options were discussed. A tentative improvement schedule was presented and the meeting adjourned with all ayes.
