Animals Ahead of Earthquakes Seen in Mexico City
An intriguing Mexico City report claims animals such as elephants giraffes lions and tigers sensed earthquakes before humans. Veterinarians received many calls from dog owners the day before the quake and zoo keepers noted unusual animal nervousness less than a day prior. After the tremor animals returned to normal and vets attributed issues to emotional disorders, while admitting no clear cause. The piece then shifts to a broader note on the new school year and debates about year-round schooling versus the traditional nine months.
