Marble Rock News Loan Fund Group Holds Annual Meeting
The Rudd Rockford Marble Rock Student Loan Fund group met in Marble Rock with 12 in attendance as officers and directors for the coming year were elected. Loans have been issued to six individuals with one repaid and others on schedule. A bridal shower for Joyce Ott, fiancée of Charles Nasheim, was held at Mrs. William Ernst’s home with guests from Mason City, Rockford, Charles City, Greene, and Marble Rock.

At the Natalia Club gathering in the Lines home, Maynard Reed and Verne Lines hosted with Ilo Bass Carroll King as guests. Roy Keith and Kenneth Parker led the program. a plant and bulb exchange served as roll call and lunch followed.
