Nancy Kingery and Dennis Osborn married in a candlelight double ring ceremony at the Presbyterian Church in Greene on Oct 23 1976 in the presence of about 200 relatives and friends Rev Howard Dukelow officiated The bride wore an ivory organza gown with lace and pearls and carried a Sonia rose bouquet The reception followed with detailed attendant gowns flowers and a long list of family roles The couple plan to live in Cedar Falls following a wedding trip

Kappa Iota of Beta Sigma Phi held a Thursday evening meeting November 4 at Mrs. Chris Schafer's home with 13 members present. A letter from Eta Nu Charles City praised a breast self exam kit. a later invitation from Eta Nu to a November 16 Tupperware party was noted. A November 24 bake sale at Tom's Stereo was planned along with a $100 donation to the Greene Volunteer Ambulance Service. The haunted house fundraiser netted $250 for community service projects. The meeting adjourned after a program on Art Painting Sculpture by Mrs. Esther Backer and the induction of four new pledges Diane Béhnke Mary Brinkman Nancy Fiddick and another.
