Former Bristow teacher Dorothy Schalk dies at 80
Mrs Dorothy Schalk born April 5 1906 Wellsburg died May 4 in Davenport hospital after seven years teaching in Bristow Independent School and Davenport School System. She married John Schalk August 8 1937 near Nashua. Survived by husband Steve son two brothers and several nieces and nephews. Oak Hill Cemetery Society met at home of Mrs Vern Fox with Mrs Susan Flanigan co host. meetings set for second Friday each month.
