James Hraven appointed administrator of the estate of Alice M. Clark deceased in Butler County Iowa. Creditors must promptly pay debts and claimants present verified claims to the Clerk of the District Court via the administrator and attorney, dated March 11 1963. Hugh L. The Greene City Council held its regular meeting March 4 in Town Hall with Mayor Vivian Kingery and six councilors present. Clerk reports no corrections to prior minutes and presents water and milk analyses along with the financial statement. A motion to send operator Wilford Griner to a $2000 tuition course at Mason City was approved. A curfew question for under 18s was opened for public response via newspaper notice. A plat of Schroeders Addition was discussed and approved. Bills and warrants were authorized for payment.

The Methodist Youth Fellowship plans a supper and candy sale March 26 at the church basement. Nearby families and visitors are listed, with community business and public safety items noted.
Mr and Mrs Arthur Morgan and their three sons visited the Dwayne Mason home on Thursday evening for a surprise basket supper marking both celebrations. The ladies are sisters. The Women's Society of Christian Service of the Methodist Church held a Wednesday morning coffee at Mrs Preston White's home with Mrs Ike Ainslie assisting. Twenty one ladies attended.
A bill to create a juvenile court in each of Iowa's 21 judicial districts is filed in both houses. District judges now share juvenile cases except Des Moines where one judge handles the role. The measure asks the Supreme Court to set standards for probation officers. Nine regional soil conservation meetings with topics on recreation, soil districts, and the European common market are scheduled across the state in March in Primghar Denison Corning Garner Nevada Chariton New Hampton Anamosa and Fairfield.
Iowa veterans and families drew $96 million in cash benefits and services in fiscal 1962. Compensation for service connected disabilities and pensions for total and permanent nonservice connected disabilities went to 45,782 living veterans totaling $41,467,108. Death benefits paid to dependents of 15,785 deceased veterans reached $13,048,968. GI dividend and indemnity payments totaled nearly $13 million to veterans and beneficiaries.
