Former Greene Resident Irma Bieber Dies in South Dakota
Word reached Greene of the death of Mrs. Irma Bieber Canova South Dakota on February 22. She was the daughter of Rev and Mrs Wm J H Knappe former Greene residents. Born in Greene, she was part of the local Lutheran Church history with her father serving as pastor. The Knappe family married in Greene in 1906 and lived here until 1913, now residing in Bartonville Illinois. Mrs Knappe and other relatives visited the church briefly on their way home from the funeral.
