Greene residents James H Graven Haeley Anlison Leonard Nichol Darrell Davis Cecil Starkweather Elmer Bramer S M Dolan Hens Smeins and Tom Albrecht attended along with two Mead boys at a March 13 1957 meeting. Missionary Society World Day of Prayer Program
The Lutheran Missionary Society sponsored a World Day of Prayer at the Church parlors on Friday evening March 8. Eighteen members and sixty guests attended with Mrs. Arlene Muller as leader. The Junior Mission Band performed Little Light of Mine and a film titled Challenge of Africa on mission work was shown. Hostesses were Mrs. Ed Scheer Miss Vena Brandenburg Mrs. George Schafer and Mrs. Gen seva Alartin.
Mrs Shultz Hosts St Patrick's Day Bridge Party
Mrs Shultz hosted the Contract Bridge Club on Thursday afternoon with Mrs Robert Mead and Mrs Faber Muller assisting. A dessert luncheon was served and decorations reflected a St Patrick's Day motif. Prizes went to Mrs Russell Duncan, Mrs Dell Curis, and Mrs B V Andersen.
