Judy Klunder and Richard Laube wed in Nevada ceremony
Judy Klunder daughter of Alvin Klunder and Richard F Laube son of Herman Laube were married on Sunday February 28 at St Peter's Lutheran Church in Nevada. Rev I J Devies officiated. The bride wore a white gown with Chantilly lace and a long train. bridesmaids wore cardinal red gowns. The couple will reside in Charles City after a wedding trip to Crossed Keys and plan to celebrate with family events.

Hausers Celebrate Golden Wedding at United Church Event
Mr and Mrs Fred Hauser marked their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at St Johns United Church of Christ east of Greene. Reverend Arthur Kruetzman led the program as daughters Joyce and Janice Hauser sang. More than 250 friends and relatives from Waterloo Waverly Clarksville and other towns attended. An anniversary dinner at Club Iowa followed with hosts and many family members in attendance.

The Indio Date Festival on February 17 drew Greene area visitors led by Mr. and Mrs. John McRoberts and others including Mr. and Mrs. Dell Curtis, Mr. and Mrs. Valeris Taylor, and Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Zimmerman.
