Sixty Plus Club Grows in Greene Community
Over 40 members aged 60 and above joined Greene Community’s Senior Citizens Club the Sixty Plus Club. On June 7 a potluck at the MacLeod building drew 13 members, and 28 attended the regular meeting the same day. The club meets Tuesdays and Fridays at 1 30 p m in the former H G MacLeod building.

Mrs B V Andersen Mrs Emil Ruzicka and Mrs August Grender attended the state meeting of the Councils of Catholic Women in Iowa at Lenihan High School Marshalltown on June 12. Registration began at 9:00 am. Miss Mary Donohoe spoke on Parish Councils and Mr James McNally on Iowa Catholic Conference. The afternoon included workshops on church and family life community affairs international matters and organization service. The gathering closed with a concelebrated Mass and guitar liturgical music.

Carole Kollman was honored at a miscellaneous bridal shower at the home of Mrs. Wilbur Landers on Wednesday afternoon. Assisting hostesses were Mrs. Lester Rover and Mrs. John John.
