Marble Rock School Construction Plans Approved
Work on the new Rudd Rockford Marble Rock senior high school to be built on the hemp plant grounds east of Rockford should start within two weeks. Roy Mills of Zit terell Mills Co. says laying out the job will begin about a week after contracts are issued. Basic contract is $453,803 with five alternates accepted, two rejected and one held in abeyance. total package about $476,843.

Dennis Nielsen Joins U S Marines After Graduation
Dennis Nielsen son of Mr and Mrs Willard Nielsen left Mason City on Tuesday to report in Des Moines for U S Marines service. A 1961 graduate of Rudd Rockford Marble Rock High School he has enlisted and was sworn in on April 20. He will proceed to California for twelve weeks of basic training in San Diego followed by four weeks at Camp Pendleton.

Union Leaders Held May Meeting
