Butler County Voters Face Choice for New Courthouse

On Monday June 10 Butler County residents vote on erecting a modern courthouse or spending about 10000 dollars yearly to prop up the old building. Officials call the 1881 courthouse a fire trap and county dump, risking records in a potential blaze. A new facility would be safer, better insulated, and reduce congestion, with officials citing efficiency and long term tax considerations.
